Q. Is the class structured any differently for players of varying
levels?
A. Instruction is completely individualised within the group,
so this is not necessary.
Q. What airport do I fly into - How far are you from the airport?
A. Maroochydore Airport, we are 25 minutes from the airport.
Q. What airlines fly there?
A. Virgin Blue and Jetstar fly to and from Maroochydore airport.
Q. Can I bring a non-participating guest?
A. A. An additional charge of $30 per night applies for a non-participating
guest accompanying a student enrolled under the single occupancy rate.
Q. What is the weather going to be like?
A. You can check out www.bom.gov.au for the latest weather report.
Q. What level of ability does the average student who attends the school
possess?
A. The average student handicap for a school ranges from scratch to
double digits. Students of all skill levels are welcome to attend the
school but to get the most from the school you should be above beginner
level.
Q. Is there a dress code when attending the Academy?
A. We require a collared shirt when attending the Academy also, jeans
are not permitted at any time while at the golf course. Soft spikes are
compulsory.
Q. Do you offer any one day schools?
A. We offer two and three day schools.
Q. Is it possible to stay extra days at Noosa Springs Resort or reserve
additional rooms, what is the cost to do this?
A. Let us know If you would like to stay extra days at the Resort when
you are making a reservation. We can generally reserve additional days
at a discount for individuals attending the Academy.
Q. Is there a minimum age to attend the Academy?
A. The minimum age to attend any school is 16 years of age, We also
offer specific Junior schools with a minium age of 12.
Q. What is the minimum and maximum numbers of students in each school?
A. There is no minimum number, and the maximum number is eight and
we maintain a student teacher ratio of at least 5:1.
Q. If my corporation buys an entire school, can we modify the Academy
itinerary?
A. If your corporation purchases an entire school and wishes to make
modifications to the school itinerary please contact the Academy and we
will do our best to accommodate your request.
Q. Do you still hold a class if there is inclement weather?
A. The schools are very rarely rained out. Classes still continue in
rain, be sure to pack wet weather gear just in case.
Q. Is there a discount for returning to the Academy each year?
A. Contact the Academy for returning students package.
Q. I have reserved a spot in the school and now need to cancel - what
do I do?
A. Contact the Academy If you need to make any modifications to your
existing reservation. Our cancellation policy listed on our website.
Q. Can I stay somewhere else besides Noosa Springs Resort when I attend
the Academy.
A. Yes.
Q. Does the Academy operate at other locations?
A. No - The Academy is based at Noosa Springs Resort and Golf Club.
